Kaitlyn is the remote Veterinary Care Coordinator at Kindness Animal Hospital, having joined the team in May 2023. Originally from California, she studied biology and Spanish at UND and is currently pursuing an associate degree in veterinary technology online. Kaitlyn began her veterinary journey working at a dog boarding facility and pet store, later gaining hands-on experience at Circle of Friends Animal Shelter and Kindness, before relocating to New Mexico with her military partner. She briefly worked at Holloman AFB Veterinary Clinic before returning to Kindness in a remote role.

Her remote responsibilities include handling emails, phone calls, online pharmacy prescriptions, and assisting with overflow tasks to support the busy clinic team. Kaitlyn is especially interested in dentistry, exotics, and large animal medicine. She finds fulfillment in hearing updates from pet owners, which helps her stay connected despite working remotely.

She shares her home with five pets: three dogs—Layla, Gidget, and Einstein, and two cats—Buddy and Stu. In her free time, Kaitlyn enjoys crocheting, stargazing, hiking, tennis, and playing Minecraft with her sister. She also enjoys motorcycle rides and car shows with her partner.
