Dr. Mendiola, known as Dr. Mendi, joined Kindness in June 2025, bringing not only a wealth of knowledge but also her high energy, passion, and inquisitive personality to the team. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences and recently completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University. Becoming a veterinarian has been a lifelong dream for Dr. Mendi, and she has a particular interest in shelter medicine, surgery, and preventive care. Excited to practice medicine as a doctor rather than a student, she finds working with the Kindness team both rewarding and inspiring. Outside of work, Dr. Mendi enjoys SEC sports—especially cheering on her Mississippi State Bulldogs with her cowbell—reading, and spending time with her husband and two dogs: Poppi Grace, a black lab mix tripod, and Boba, a golden doodle. A couple of fun facts about her—she’s 4 feet 9 inches tall, and her favorite color is yellow.
